Quick question...

I have the ht-r590 receiver and ever since I had it, it would stay on the channel that it was on when I turned it off. For example, if it was on "cable" and I turned it off, then turned it back on, it would be on cable. Now, no matter what, whenever I turn it on it is on the "vcr/dvr" channel. How can I fix this? Thanks

Do you have this connected to your TV with HDMI and if so do you have the RIHD "as explained on page 42 of the manual" set to on?

It is connected by hdmi to my tv yes.
I do not have access to my manual, could you explain what RIHD is and how to turn it on/off? thanks

Setup ==> HDMI Setup once you press enter here the next thing that comes up is => HDMI Ctrl(RIHD) if it is on simply turn it off. Make sure all HDMI devices that are connected to the receiver have this function off also.
