A/V Sync between HT-S9400THX and PS3

Hello!!

About a month ago, I purchased a HT-S9400THX and I love it!! The features are great and of course, the sound is unbelievable.

The one issue we're seeing is with Audio and Video Sync when watching a Blu Ray using the PS3. I use the PS3 to stream movies to it and they don't seem to be an issue, only when watching blu rays. Are there certain settings I should check to see if they are enabled to try to resolve this issue?? I currently have the A/V Delay set to 90 msec....

My equipment is as follows:

TV - Samsung LN52B750
Blu Ray - PS3 (HDMI 1)
Satellite - DirecTV HR24 (HDMI 2)
Music - Apple TV (HDMI 3)

Like I said, it seems to only be when watching Blu Ray's.

Any help in fixing this would be great!!

The only syncs on the receiver are the "AV sync" and the "lip sync" that can be adjusted if neither one work then there are no other solutions to this. Have you checked to make sure the PS3 has any type of syncing function that may help?

Disney World of Wonder (WOW) Blu-ray calibration disc, has the best AV sync pattern that I have ever seen. It's extremely easy to adjust lip sync. Sync issues are usually caused by HD TVs processing video. It takes a fraction of a second to display the picture, so you need to delay the sound in the receiver to compensate. Amazon has WOW and it's worth every penny.
