My ONKYO COLIBRINO stopped reading my iPod device!

Hi there,

My four month old ONKYO colibrino stopped reading my iPod today (classic 160GB)
When i put in on the dock it says connecting for longer than usual and eventually a flashing message saying ERROR will appear.
It will still read my daughter`s iPod though (an old version of the nano) but can´t see why my one would be a problem since i have no problems connecting my iPod to other devices such us my computer (i mean to iTunes) or connecting the iPod to the colibrino as an MP3 device through the USB port.
Would much appreciate help in order to keep the joy going.
