Display smudges
I bought a new 709 as a replacement of my 803 which is very nice overall. One thing bothers me though. I've cleaned the display from some static dust very carefully just a few days after I got it with a lens cloth. This has left permanent scratch-smudges on the display, especially when sunlight hits the receiver. The display from my old receiver seems much better quality, because it already looks better then my new receiver and that one is 6 years old. I would like to replace the display but I don't see any option of doing so. Is there any solution for this?
Thank you

If it were me, and it bothered me I would use a plastic polish like this.
Meguiars Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner Item # : MEG M1708

Re: Display smudges
Hi boss_msx,
Unfortunately the only way to resolve that is to either return it for an exchange or take/send that to a service center for repair but if I were you I'd try what "02Lightning" suggested.
