TX-NR609 Popping Sounds during iPhone music playback
Greetings,
I have a 609 and when ever I hook up my iPhone to the receiver through the front usb port and play my music, I get a popping sound coming from the speakers. Everything else works fine and I really enjoy the ability to control my iphone through the receiver. I also like the ability to see the album art on my TV.
I have installed the latest firmware for the receiver but it did not fix the problem. I tried placing a ferrite core around the usb cable to see if it was related to some kind of interference but that did not fix the problem either. I read in the "AVS Forum" that another person was having the same issue.
I use this function of the receiver quite often, however, it is really anoying when listening to music to hear that constant popping sound. Do you have a remedy for this problem?

Hi cesarcorrea1,
I am going to ask you to try a factory reset on the unit to see if it corrects the issue. Here is our blog post on a reset: http://onkyousacustomersupportblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/12/factory-reset/
Thank you for choosing Onkyo.
