309 and PS3 HDMI handshake issue

Hi, I am the proud owner of a new tx sr309 av receiver. It works perfectly with all of my devices except for my PS3. On startup it wont always recognise the PS3 and even when it does it can then lose picture and sound after a period of time. This is intermittent. Connecting the PS3 directly to the tv shows no issues. I have tried resetting the 309 but this made no difference. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix? Thanks, Kenny.

When having HDMI issues we first like to have customers run through our HDMI Checklist. This information can be found on our blog: http://www.onkyousa.com/feedback_form.cfm Since you already did a reset please skip step 3. Thank you and please keep us posted.
