internet radio on TX 8050

How do I assign remote pushbuttons to internet stations?

If you asking how do you assign the buttons on the remote for the "NET" functions such as Vtuner of this receiver, that information starts on page 30 of the owners manual.

when I look at page 30, all I see is how to push the net button, then search around until I find Vtuner, then search manually through that until I come across the folders, then search through that until I find the station I want. This procedure is inconvenient and time consuming, subject to error at every step. The store that sold me the unit said I could assign a button to each station. but they don't know how to do it either.
If it can't be done, the least I can do is tell them that so they don't mislead others.

What am I missing on page 30?

Unfortunately if that is the question you were asking previously then the answer is no, it will only do that on with the Tuner on the actually receiver and not the net.

let me be sure I understand. Are you saying that the remote pushbuttons only work on tuner stations, actual broadcast received over the air through my antenna, and do not work on internet radio stations?

If that is true, I was sold this unit under false pretenses.

You can save to the "My Favorites" in the network portion but your question was can you assign these to an individual button on the remote of TX-8050 which is not possible.
