Re-Programming Remote Question
I have a TX-SR508 receiver tied to a Samsung Blu-Ray player, model BD-P1590. For the most part, most blu-ray player remote commands work fine using Onkyo's remote, with the exception of the A-B-C-D buttons. Buttons C and D are reversed. Is there another code for this Samsung player or perhaps a way to reprogram specific buttons on the Onkyo remote? Thanks in advance.

Re: Re-Programming Remote Question
Hi jaydon53,
Unfortunately this remote can not be programmed like that. One of our higher end model remotes may be able to accommodate this function for you. They are called "learning remotes" such as our TX-NR709 and above.

thanks of the Response
I've been needing an excuse to upgrade my receiver anyway, so I guess my hand is forced.

Re: Re-Programming Remote Question
Hi jaydon53,
That wasn't my intention but glad to hear that you will upgrade to hopefully another Onkyo unit. Thank you for choosing Onkyo and have a great day.
