Onkyo TX-NR609 4K video upscalling
Hi,
I've bought this unit 6 months ago. Until January it was working fine. I had the 4k video upscalling selected and had image and sound on the TV.
From one day to another I lost image with that selection on.
At that time I could not understand what was the problem with the a/v receiver and I have sent it to service.
I've received it back today working with the all the video output resolutions except the 4k video upscalling.
I know that probably i'm not getting any improvement on the image with the 4k video upscalling selected, but still i would like to have working.
Is there anything that i can do?
Thanks,
Hugo

Re: Onkyo TX-NR609 4K video upscalling
Unless you have a $20k prototype 4k TV, you need to set the video processor to either auto, or THE NATIVE RESOLUTION of your TV. 4k upscaling does absolutely nothing for your picture, and it will be another decade before you have to worry about it!

Hi djaja,
While there are projectors currently on the market with the 4K feature that have been tested with our units that works fine, you will need a either a TV or projector that has this feature in order to utilize the scaler on our units.
