Onkyo remote sensor
Hey, I noticed there is a remote input in the back of my Onkyo receiver. Does this mean I can add a remote control sensor to the receiver that will allow the receiver to be hidden behind a cabinet and the sensor can be placed somewhere allowing to still function. If this is the case, where can I purchase such a sensor and what is it called?
Thanks mate.

Re: Onkyo remote sensor
Yes the IR input found on the rear of the receiver would be sufficient for that purpose. There is a kit that Xantech has and you can order these pieces to control the unit outside of a cabinet. Xantech Corporation 13100 Telfair Ave Slymar, CA 91341-3573 Phone Orders: 1-800-843-5465 Fax Orders: 1-800-492-6832 Tech Support: tech@xantech.com General Information: info@xantech.com Xantech Part Numbers #29100 (Table top receiver), #283MW (emitter x 2), #78944 (connecting block), #781RG (power supply), #784-00 (emitter extension cable)
