SR309 audio dropouts with Panasonic bdt210 blu-ray and HDMI
When I run my Panasonic BDT210 Blu-ray player through my Onkyo SR309 receiver using HDMI I experience periodic audio dropouts and sometimes lose the audio and video signal entirely. I have no problem with video and audio from Comcast cable through the SR309 using HDMI, and when I plug the Panasonic Blue-ray directly into my SONY TV it works perfectly. I have replaced all of the HDMI cables with higher quality ones, and have done firmware updates and compete resets on both units. If I disconnect and reset everything, I usually have no dropouts for a short time but eventually they start again. Any thoughts on what might make this happen, or is anyone else experiencing something similar ? I'm hoping it's a setup issue and not something that will require a repair. Thanks!
