onkyo prsc 5508

Well i see there is a press release out for statick in speakers on many of onkyo's models. I'm experienceing this in my prsc 5508, amongst many other problems. I was wondering if anyone else with this model is haveing the same problem. I spoke to someone on the phone and asked about the pre paid packaging slip and packaging for this unit. And tried explaining about the press release on onkyo usa. He repeated to me 2 times, all units must be personally paid for to be shipped to repair center.. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had this problem.
