ONKYO: Please respond: No sound out of subwoofer suddenly (TX-NR616)

Hi, there is no sound coming out my subwoofer suddenly. I want to figure out whether it's the NR616 or something is wrong with the subwoofer. I have run initial (light) Auddesy setup and the when tones are sent to the speakers I hear them out except from subwoofer. The back of the subwoofer has one LFE input and a L/R input. I have connected the sub out of the receiver to the LFE of the wub woofer.

Please advise what steps I need to take to figure out what's wrong and which device is problematic.
