No digital audio on TX-NR509 Empty No digital audio on TX-NR509

Hello - i've updated the firmware (to 108110000000103), and reset the receiver following the instructions i found here in the forum, yet still no go with the digital (optical) audio. It used to work, and i'm not sure if the latest update broke it, or if it was something else. Any tips on what I can do?
I have an optical audio cord plugged into Optical Input 2 (i've also tried it going into optical input 1), and have set TV/CD to use optical input 2 (as it used to work this way) - but no sound, and the display on the unit reads "Analog". plz help. thanks for your time!

Hi jz510,

The reset should of corrected this and if that has not corrected the issue then I would suggest having a service center further evaluate it. Authorized service centers can be found on our main page under support.
