Andoid remote app screen size

I recently downloaded the remote app on my ipad and android phone (motorola razr). The ipad works fine but the interface on the android is off to the right. It is almost like it is set to work only in a landscape view and not portrait but when I rotate the phone the screen does not rotate. The buttons/functions I can see work fine. Is this a known issue? Can the display size be changed?

We apologize for the tardiness in our response to this issue; what is the current version of the Onkyo Remote 2 App on your Droid Razr phone? Are you using version 1.40 Remote App? When was the last time you updated the Remote 2 app? We also need the following information:
