Streaming music skipping

Has anyone else encountered issues with music streamed from a mobile device through the OnkyoRemote Android app to the receiver skipping if the phone screen turns off?
My phone is an HTC Thunderbolt running Android OS 2.3.4.
My receiver is a TX-NR609 (firmware updated 12/12/12).
