Onkyo TX-NR717 stuck on Pure Audio

My Onkyo receiver seems to have some circuitry "stuck" on Pure Audio. The blue light stays on and the display on the receiver stays off whether I toggle it on or off. It's actual function seems to be working, as when it is toggled on (able to see on the TV Screen) it does not play any bass and when toggled off different listening modes work. I want to turn it off so that the blue light comes off and the receiver display comes back, but it just seems to stay in the Pure Audio "On" configuration regardless if it is turned on/off.

Tried a factory reset via holding Cable/Sat and On/Standby, still unable to get the display back on the receiver. Am I missing anything? Anyone have any suggestions? Or is it simply a broke unit?

How long have you owned this product? Do you have the original dated sales receipt? As the manufacturer's warranty is valid for 2 years from the original date of purchase; you can either contact the dealer for a product exchange if you are still within their exchange timeframe- or have the unit serviced at one of our authorized Onkyo service centers.
