TX-NR809 and Powered Speakers.
I own a TX-NR809 and I have a high quality Genelec powered Audio Monitors and as well a powered Subwoofer, so I don't need to use my Onkyo as an amplifier.
Can I control the volume and mute of my powered speakers using the Onkyo's Remote control ?? What happens with the amp if they've no speakers connected on the terminals ???
Many Thanks 4 your help !!!!!

Re: TX-NR809 and Powered Speakers.
The 809 has "pre-outs" via rca jacks.
On all other avrs I've used, the remote will function normally. I'm not sure about the Audessey, but you could try it and see.
