TX-NR709, How to make a USB WIFI adapter and iPod/iPhone work at the same time with only one USB port?

Just purchased an Onkyo receiver TX-NR709. Sent this question to Onkyo on 8/9 and got a response today. But the answer just says "NO" to a USB splitter, without giving any solution. Anyone here has the answer? Thanks.

An alternative is to connect a wifi client to your ethernet port.
I am using a TP-Link TL-WR702N in client mode with my TX-8050.
Works fine for Vtuner, Dnla etc.
iphone app gives some trouble (doesnt always find the TX), but probably that is related to the app .

The usb port is free for usb-stick or iphone/ipod.
