Ipod/Iphone dock not working

I am having a problem with my iphone not playing music through the dock. It will charge the phone but no sound from the receiver. It did this poreviously and resetting the receiver fixed it but I have tried resetting the receiver 3 times now and it does not seem to help. it is a HT R570

What Dock do you have and how is this setup?

I have the ht-r680 receiver and the UP-A1 dock. As far as setup not sure what you mean. I plugged it in and it worked for a while. Now it will charge the iphone but will not play music. Is there a setup that could have changed?
