Clicking sound when changing channels
I notice on my 709 receiver when I change channels & it goes into a different listening mode I hear a clicking sound. Is this normal?
Thanks for answering my previous question.

Clicking sound when changing channels
I do not experience the problems listed in the link you provided. What I am trying to explain is that when I am on a certain channel broadcasting in Dolby 5.1 & switch to another channel that is broadcasting in a different format I hear a clicking sound. Then when I switch back or go to another channel broadcasting in Dolby 5.1 I hear the clicking the clicking sound again.

Re: Clicking sound when changing channels
Hello dowop,
I apologies that the original suggestion was incorrect. The original question had me a little confused. It is normal for it to click when changing between listening modes. However, if it's really loud then it may be the something in the receiver. Have you done the latest firmware update?
