Updated Onkyo2 app broken Empty Updated Onkyo2 app broken

The newly updated Onkyo2 app is not properly controlling my TX-NR709, My firmware is up to date (7/5/2012) functioned great before the up date. Now in Net mode it defaults to DLNA mode and I cannot change it to any of the other modes, IE; vTuner, LastFM etc. Blew the app out and reloaded and no joy. The remote control button does not function (the remote control symbol lower right hand side)
