HT-S3500 and iPod touch Empty HT-S3500 and iPod touch

I can connect my iPod via USB to the receiver and go through the different categories, etc but when I tell it to play a song, I don't hear any sound. The song title displays and looks like it's playing but no sound is coming from my speakers. The radio and HDMI sound works, but not my iPod. I'm using iOS 5.1.1
