TX NR-609 and Internet Radio
I´m having the following problem with my new TX NR-609
Upon configuration, I was able to access the Internet Radio and got to the screen where I could see all the options (Pandora, vTuner, Spotify, etc)
Then, I configured some favorite radio stations from vtuner.
On the following days, everytime I try to access to the Internet Radio, the display shows "Initializing" on the AV receiver but nothing happens. On the tv it does not show anything at all and stays with the message "Initializing" forever. I have checked and the AV is connected to the Internet, it has an assigned IP address from the router, and I can get to the AV receiver page from my browser using the IP assigned to the AV, which shows actually on the Internet radio the favorite stations still there.
I have also unplugged the receiver from the power and plug it back again, but the status is the same. Everytime I press "NET" on the remote control, the only thing I see is "INITIALIZING" on the AV receiver display but nothing on the TV.
I don´t know what else to do in order to make it work. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi jcrespo76,
If you are getting an IP address and are able to access the receivers GUI from a computer then something maybe blocking it such as a firewall or setting in the router. Have you tried to reboot your router?

Indeed, I restarted my router and in fact the firewall is disabled.
I even reset the AV to factory settings and the problem remains. It stays with the option "INIITALIZING"
The AV is connected via Ethernet Cable to the router.

Hi jcrespo76,
If you've done all that up to and including rebooting your router and the issue remains then the unit will need to go to a service center for further evaluation. Authorized service centers can be found on our main page under support.

jcrespo76 Check out the post by scsig1 if you haven't. Also, have you tried unplugging the 609 ? I believe when it first starts up, you should see the ONKYO logo on screen while it initializes. Hope this helps.
