12 v trigger
I use to own the onkyo 787 I realy like the 12 volt trigger you can turn things on or off pull down a screen turn on a my projector the coolest thing is that i had it hook up to my refrence center and had a plug that was on delay time and use to turn on my 2000 watt amp runing my 18 inch subs with out spending mucho money on expensive remote systems
ONKYO PLEASE 12 Volt TRIGGER TO MAIN ZONE ALWAYS IS A MOST is more inportant then have in it on zone 2 or 3. I Own the 5008 and I have to get up and turn my qsc runing my subs by hand or if there is a way to turn a refrence center with zone 2, 12 volt trigger please tell me how
I have 4 m70 polk audio and a center chanel on main zone with a qsc runing my 2 18 inch peavey subs tell me how can i turn my refrence center with the 12 v trigger
even if i get some expensive remote system qsc,or crown , or peavey amps or not remote control

Re: 12 v trigger
Hi elchucho,
If you are asking how to turn on/off the 12 volt triggers on the TX-NR5008 all you would need to do is connect an 1/8 mini cable to the zone-2/3 inputs on the back of the unit providing your "reference Center" has the same inputs on it. There are no settings that you would have to go into on the receiver to activate these triggers as they are always on.

Hi swingin1,
As previously stated the 12 volt triggers turn on/off when the zone-2 or zone-3 are turned on/off.

thank you
thank you i know how to turn on or off the 12 v trigger the problem is if you turn on the 12 v triger as zone 2 you take away 2 channels and if you leave it on it will stay on all time till you turn the unit off. the 787 the 12 volt triger was assignable for example if you want to watch a movie and you select dvd you set it to on if you were just washing tv or regular programing you set it to off if you want to lissen to cd loud music you set it to on when you change sourse on the onkyo the 12 v trigger came on or off as you assign it really cool i wish onkyo wll do this on all units because if they dont i will not buy another onkyo.
