New Firmware Update 11-28-12

Did anyone else get a notification for a new firmware update yesterday? I updated to the 10/9/12 firmware the other day and last night when I turned my receiver on I got a notification for a new one. I don’t see any mention of it on the site, or what changes/fixes it brings

is there updates separate for the network features? I wonder if that is what it was.

As stated in the last post there have been no other firmware updates for the tx-nr515/616 as of 10/09/12.

Are you sure! I keep getting firmware notifications saying this new version is available. Should I set it to never remind me?

There is NO new updated firmware release for ANY receivers currently. I also checked with Japan and they have not released any firmware versions. You should try a FORCED UPDATE on the receiver to confirm that the latest update will be initialized and conducted. This is done by pressing and holding the USB and ON/STANDBY buttons on the front panel of the receiver. When done, the display will show "[ENTER] UPDATE.. ", press the ENTER button to commence the firmware update again.

Is there anyway to check the current firmware on the receiver? I wonder if it never actually updated even though it said it did.

Go to the HOME SETUP menu by pressing the HOME button on the remote controller and scroll to F/W Update and press the ENTER button. It should now indicate the current firmware version on the receiver; ensure that the receiver has the latest firmware version (1141-0108-0400).
