txnr-818 compressed sound during action sequences - HELP!
Hi All
I have had the 818 for about a week and am having some difficulty with bluray soundtracks
During action sequences is will sometimes compress the lower to upper midrange, giving the impression that that range has had the volume turned down. I am guessing that it is something to do with the settings and I have to confess that I am a bit confused by the masses of config options. It is more likely to be a speaker or crossover setting, or an HDMI setting that I am missing???
I am running Monitor Audios - Silver RS6 fronts and centre, Silver RFX rears and little Radius cubes for front high.
I am not running another zone.
I have calibrated with Audessy - but also had the problem before i ran it.
I can obviously give all my settings if they are relevant.
If someone could give me an idea of what might be happening I would be grateful as this problem is seriously taking the shine of my new toy!!
Cheers
Alex
