Flac 24/192 can't play on Onkyo TX-8050

Hi,

I've tried to play some 24bits / 96 KHz stereo and multichannel on my Onkyo TX-8050 and it's quite perfect, but as soon as I try 24bits / 192 KHz, it says Cannot play ?

I'm using Asset UPnP media Server, but I also tried from USB key and it's the same.

Is it a definitive limitation or should it be enabled later in a new firmware ?

Sorry, but that format is not supported and unfortunately there is no firmware update for the audio formats at this time. Thank you!

Thanks for your quick answer.

Do you know if this is planned for a further improvment of TX-8050 firmware 'cause having an audio DAC 24bits/192kHz but being unable to use lossless FLAC as source files is such a shame.

I could even pay for this kind of feature.
