Streaming music to 609

I am planning on purchasing a NR-609 receiver. Is it possible to stream music from my computer via the network cat5 cable to the zone 2 speakers

You are able to stream music from your PC to the Receiver via our UWF-1 wirless adapter or an ethernet cable. Thank you for contacting Onkyo via our forum.

Will I be able to output the music to the zone 2 speakers

Yes, you will be able to use zone 2. To activate zone 2 you will select the input source and then press the zone 2 button followed by the input selector button within a few seconds of hitting the zone 2 button. Thanks for choosing Onkyo!
