Hi,
Can someone please advise me what the above code is? I got that code from the display panel of Tx-nr609 receiver when its power button is pressed. The whole unit cant be controlled by either its remote control or buttons on its front interface, the volume is defaulted at 40, cant be adjusted up or down.
Thanks heaps,
Hien

Hi Hien,
The code that you see on the display is for the service technicians to troubleshoot the unit. It is not link to the issue that you are experiencing. Try powering down the unit for 20 minutes and reset the unit by pressing the VCR/DVR and POWER button on the face of the unit and see that should release the receiver (This will reset your unit back to factory default). Here is our blog post on the reset, please read it first:http://onkyousacustomersupportblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/12/factory-reset/
If that does not work your unit will need to be sent in for repair and we will assist you with that if you need it. Thank you for contacting Onkyo via our forum!

I tried to press the two buttons as instructed for about 20 seconds, nothing seems to work. The unit is currently located in AUS, so can you please advise me where i should send the unit to as i just bought it recently?
Thanks,

Hi,
I bought the unit while i was working in the US, I returned to AUS just one month ago. I am wondering if you can give me any tips to fix it.
I would greatly appreciate,
Thanks,
Hien

Hi Hien,
Unfortunately, you are no longer under warranty because you took it out of the country. You can still have it sent here for repair, but you must pay for the shipping and the repair. Thank you for contacting Onkyo via our forum.
