detailed instructions needed to set up a TX-8050 and UWF-1 for encrypted wireless router
I have the TX-8050 set up without a connecting a video monitor. Is it possible to use the receiver's screen to input the WPA password for my wireless router after plugging in the UWF-1?
The manuals that come with the TX-8050 and UWF-1 are not clear.

Hi j2wong,
Yes it is possible to put your password in using this receiver.

Must a video monitor be connected to the receiver to input the password?
Thanks. Is there a link to instructions to input my password without connecting an external video monitor or must I attach a video monitor?

Hi j2wong,
Unfortunately you will have to use the receivers’ display.
