TX-NR809 shutdown & static problem

Hi
I am considering the purchase of an TX-NR809 receiver to replace my TX-SR805, but am concerned about the shutdown and static issue.
Do you think that most of the affected receivers are no longer in the supply channel. I would hate to purchase one and them have to turn
around and send it in to be repaired.

All of our new models do not have this issue.

Thanks, I figured most of the affected 809's were probably purchased already and the authorized dealers had stock that was not affected.
