Android app for 717???

I havent seen any posts addressing this. When will the onkyo remote app include the tx-nr717? Or is there already an app created for this and I just cannot find it?

Troy2003, The App is out there and works great with the TX-NR717. I have been using it for months now with no issues. LOVE IT!!

Look in your Android Store. Go to where you usually get your apps. Type in the search box Onkyo. You should see it pop up. Is blue and white with Onkyo logo in middle. This app works all the 2012 line except the Intergra line which has it's own app.

One thing. If you want to be able to turn the receiver on with the app you have to set your NETWORK STANBY to ON. If you have it off, and your unit is off, it will NOT detect it, or let you power up after you shut it down by either the app or unit itself.

Great, I only saw the 414, 515 and 616 listed in that app. I guess they just didnt update what models are applicable in the description but thanks a ton for the quick reply!!.

Thank you for the assistance FlybyNght- you are correct. The Onkyo Remote2 App is functional for all NR (network ready) models from 2010- present.
