TX-NR609 zone-2 no audio when source is HDMI

I have a strange problem, my zone-2 speakers works perfect when I use USB or FM Tuner. But the problem is when I connect to use my blue ray player or set-top box (any of the HDMI source) only main speakers works, zone-2 has no output. Tried with front AUX HDMI connection, it is not even recognizing the source for zone-2, however the main speakers still work.

Looks like something to do with HDMI connections may be they are truely digital which is not supported by zone-2. Is there any other cables I need to connect to make zone-2 work ? Zone-2 works great with iphone connected through USB & FM TUNER

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My settings:
Speakers Type(Front) - Normal
Powered Zone 2 - YES

You need to connect RCA cables between receiver and blu ray to output any sound in zone 2.

Thank you very much, it worked when RCA cables connected with BD player and into the RCA of receiver.
I have one more question.

I use google tv (logitech), it doesn't have RCA but it have Toslink. So if I use Tosalink to RCA converter it will work right ?

Yes it will work, but you should check that Google tv output is PCM and not 5.1 as those converters accept only 2 channel input.
