remote2 app
I'm running iOS 6.0 on an iPad3, remote2 version 1.40.120925a connecting to a TX-NR616.
The app is driving me crazy with it's flaky design: the initial screen is very counter intuitive switching inputs, also the NET navigation is sluggish and seems to randomly jump back and forth, as if it's forgetting where it was. The dlna is downright slow and ill responsive to navigation and other commands. Other dlna apps connecting to the 616 don't suffer from these shortcomings.
I recently got a 616, the salesperson proudly said an app is available from Onkyo themselves, but this is very disappointing. Nowadays audio specialists cannot afford *not* to have an app, but a bad one is even worse. I'm hoping for some major rework on the app, for me it's important to have at lease a decent app. Are there any plans for a remote3?

Re: remote2 app
We have provided a YouTube showing the overall functionality and ease of use reagrding the iPad 3 (currently iOS 6.0) and Onkyo Remote App2 (version 1.40) and can easily navigate with NO issues. We have many users enjoying the use and functionality of the remote app; and there is NO current information regarding any development of any revised Onkyo Remote App. Please review the video:

Re: remote2 app
Thank you for providing the link. The clip gracefully shows how an Onkyo employee pauses playback while actually trying to swipe away the volume control. I was actually referring to the NET DLNA (server) navigation, a completely different part of the app you referred to, I don't think my initial post was unclear.
Furthermore I wonder if we are even talking about the same app. The many users enjoying the app have actually rated it with the absolute minimum of 1 star, resulting in an average of 2.5 star (consider again, below 1 is not possible). Normally this would indicate anyone it's an app not worth working with. The recent posts in this very forum should create awareness that the app has many shortcomings. Please look into the DLNA NET navigation specifically since it simply does not work at all after removing and downloading it again.
