7.1 to 9.1??

I have a Onkyo 709. I would like to run front high & wides at the same time. If I would add a external amp to my receiver would I be able to do that?

Hi dowop,
Unfortunately, you can only do one or the other (front highs or wides) using an amp would not make a difference. Thank you for choosing Onkyo!
