TX-SR508 Front Speaker R - no sound (Not Speaker or Wires)

The Front Speaker Right audio output jack is not working. I have troubleshot that the speaker and the speaker wires work. The Left Speaker audio output jack works. The receiver is only 15 months old. Could the audio output have malfunctioned already, or could it be the settings? If the output jack needs to be repaired, I will be without TV, DVD and music for the repair duration. Any suggestions?

I read on Forum I could reset the settings, or I may connect speakers through a separate speaker output setting?

The last option would be to repair receiver through warranty and that could take weeks.

Since you have tested both the speaker and the wires, the next step would be to try a factory reset on the unit.
