connection error to Slacker radio Empty connection error to Slacker radio

On my brand new tx-nr809 I am able to connect to Pandora, dlna sources and vtuner but unable to connect to slacker radio. When I try to log in either with my account credentials or using the "access without sign in" option I get the message "Connection error. The server connection could not be established or was terminated early. Please try again later." This issue has been persistant for three days. Is there a way for me to get more information about exactly what, if any, response is coming from slacker? I have tried resetting the receiver with no change in behavior.

I have the identical problem. When my TXNR509 Onkyo receiver attempts to connect to Slacker radio, the Connection Error message below is displayed. This does not happen with Pandora or Aupeo which are working fine and all internet stations including Slacker play fine on my laptop. I have already contacted Slacker and they are saying the problem is at Onkyo because Pandora and Aupeo work on the receiver and all including Slacker work fine on my laptop. The receiver is wire connected to a pre-N Netgear router. Please explain and resolve. Here is the message:" Connection Error.The server connection could not be established or was terminated early. Please try again later."
