TX-NR3009 - Preout sensitivity rating
I have a NR3009. I see the rated preout sensitivity is 1V and max is 5.5V. Does this mean it will output 5.5V when the volume on the receiver is maxed out? I guess I'm asking is what does the max rating,5.5V, refer to regarding the preouts.

Hi Mclovin50,
Yes it does refer the volume being at max but it also has to do with the incoming signal as well.
Thank you.

Sorry, one more thing. When you connect a preout, does the corresponding speaker output shut off?
Example, will connecting left and right preout shut off my left and right speaker connections.

Hi Mclovin50,
It will not shut off the left/right output speaker channels.
Thank you.
