Onkyo RC 360 not upscaling Empty Onkyo RC 360 not upscaling

I have been using an Onkyo RC 360 for a few months. Initially when I got the receiver I remember on changing the "monitor out" settings I was able to change the resolution of the inputs. But, now whatever setting I change "monitor out" to , it is always in direct mode. I have connected the HDMI output to ARC HDMI input of my TV. Am I doing something wrong?

Update: Doing a firmware update seems to have fixed this. Not sure what the problem is
