Subwoofer not working on HT-S9300thx  system Empty Subwoofer not working on HT-S9300thx system

Hi, I have an Onkyo HT-S9300THX and today the subwoofer stopped working. The blue subwoofer light is on (red means standby, blue means active). When I go to speaker calibration settings to test all of the speakers, all of them work fine except the subwoofer. When I get to the subwoofer, the sound coming out is muffled, then dies out with no more sound coming out. I've tried resetting the system with no luck. No sound comes out of the subwoofer when playing movies, music, and watching regular TV The system was purchased last September. I've tried resetting the receiver, unpluging the subwoofer and re-plugging it with no avail. Thank you for your help.
