Not Enough Ventilation Space... What To Do?
Gentlemen,
I bought a brand new HT-S7400, very good and cool set, but my home theater furniture don't have that recommended space from guide book:
- Above: 20cm and mine has only 5cm (can go only up to 8cm)
- Sides: 20cm and mine has only 2cm (but there are no side ventilation openings on receiver)
- Behind: 10cm and mine has 10cm (but closed, the wires go to the upper shelf)
I was thinking in install one or two 110V cooler fans with 80cm˜120cm diameter, but I want to know your opinion about it: is really necessary to concern about it? Is the cooler a good solution? Do you recommend anything else?
Thanks and regards to all...

Hi alecalixto,
The only thing we recommend is what's in the manual. You can try the fans but we would suggest you have at least 4 to 5 inches over the top before doing so or the unit is most likely going to go into amp protect. Thanks for contacting Product Support.
