How do I find out the MAC Address for UWF-1 dongle that is attached to my TX-NR809?

There is no MAC address for the UWL-F. But there is a MAC address within the receiver's Network setup.

FInding UWF-1 Mac adress (Wireless USB Dongle)

The internet is full of information about all kind of stuff. But hardly no information about finding MAC adress of my new Onkyo UWF-1 USB Wireless LAN dongle bought with 609.
After finding out myself: take a smartphone with a QR code reader. Read the QR code which is part of the information of the label on the dongle. The information represents then the mac adress of the dongle. So despite all others stating, the dongle has it's own mac-adress and it isn't taking over the adress of the physical interface inside the Onkyo reveiver.
If you can't find it please post a message in the forum. Probably al lot people can help you. Just make a good picture of the label and send it to someone with a smartphone and a QR code reader app.

Hi forums users,
There is a way to determine the MAC address of the UWF-1 but you will need to connect to the net via the USB port on the receiver first. You will need to after the connection is made go into the setup then hardware setup then network, at the top is the MAC address of the UWF-1 as it overwrites the MAC address of the receiver.
