tx-nr616 exta 1 and 2

Post  rajko on Thu Dec 06, 2012 6:08 pm

Very confused. Can't find a way to switch to Extra 1 or 2 anywhere; not on the remote, nowhere in the menus, not on the box. How's it done?????

Thanks.

Did you assign the HDMI 6 and 7 on the receiver to a particular input? If so, press the Q SETUP button on the remote controller to display the INPUT option and press the ENTER button. Now scroll down the inputs to you see HDMI 6 or HDMI 7 next the the specified input.

Yea, I found that already but was hoping there's a one-key way to switch to Extras. My universal remote can't handle so many keys to get to a particular input. Is there any other way?

Thanks!

Would you like the hexidecimal codes for your this unit to reprogram onto your universal remote controller? You may also need to contact the manufacturer of this remote controller as well to program any possible macro to accomplish what you are seeking? Please reply back via PM with your email address so we can supply you with the hexidecimal codes for this receiver. As we are not able to troubleshoot non-Onkyo devices; we can provide the codes for this unit promptly.

This logitech unit can't do too much of the fancy stuff. That's okay. Thanks for your time!
