Quick Set Adjustments Empty Quick Set Adjustments

Does anyone know how to make a quick set change permanent for each individual input on the TX NR818?

For instance I want the subwoofer level louder on my phono input, tuner input and internet radio input.

It's fine the way Audyssey sets it for Blu-ray and TV.

I don't want to have to adjust this every time I power up the 818. I'd like to be able to do this once and have it set permanently for each individual input. Using Quick set allows me the setting, but it is designed to revert back to the global setting when the receiver is powered down.

My Denon AVR 3313ci receiver allows me to adjust center channel and subwoofer along with numerous other settings for each input individually and permanently.

I would appreciate any help with suggestions!

Thanks!

Unfortunately; our receivers do NOT have this capability to individually store subwoofer level for the various inputs on the receiver. When changing the subwoofer level via LEVEL CALIBRATION; it adjusts for ALL INPUTS. The only option that is similar to what you are requesting would be the INTELLIVOLUME option, which stores the individual level output for each input. If you have any more questions or concerns, Please contact our Product Support Dept for further assistance with this specific issue via our phone number and hours of operation (800-229-1687; option #3 PRODUCT SUPPORT 24 hours a day). We would like to speak with you and work to troubleshoot and resolve your issue as prompt as possible.

Thank You;

Thanks for getting back to me on this.

Might there be the possibility of having this included in a future firmware update? It really is a nice feature to be able to adjust the tonal quality of each input source. I use this quite frequently on my Denon. A fellow co-worker of mine has a Denon as well. He is hard of hearing and sets the center channel up only on the TV input as movies tend to be better equalized.

I would appreciate it if you could pass this request along to the powers that be!

Thanks vety much!

By the way the 818 is AWESOME!

There is no current information to confirm your inquiry/ request; but will submit your inquiry to the appropriate department for further review. This would need to be reviewed for Engineering and various departments.

Thanks very much! If the TX-NR818 were able to have audio settings available for each individual input like the Denon models do, it would be the PERFECT receiver!

After all, without this feature, it's kind of like having a TV with only audio adjustments and no video adjustments. Smile

Any news on this feature request yet?

I also posted this feature question on a non-Onkyo forum asking if any owners knew how to set sound for each input independently. Just a few days ago I was contacted by another forum member asking me if I figured out how to do this yet as it was a feature that the other member wanted as well. There is some interest in this feature.

Thanks for a reply.

Already submitted this to the supervisor and he is still awaiting a response from Japan. I will advise when I hear any news.
