24/7 Customer Support? A rant, then a question.
Why does Onkyo claim to have 24/7 customer support? After 8pm EST, you no longer have the option to wait for a representative. You simply get pushed to the voice mail que, which then informs you that the system isn't set up to accept messages. Complete BS.
So, either they have no support folks working, or they are too incompetent to have their voice mail system set up correctly.
Enough of the rant...
I recently purchased the TX-NR515 and the UWF-1. I went through the set up and now I have the receiver showing connected to my wireless network. Now what? How do i direct any of my music to play through the NR515? I'm not connecting to Pandora or any internet radio, i just want to play songs from my iTunes library, or if that's not possible, simply from my music folder. How do i direct my PC to play through the receiver instead of the computer speakers?
What am I missing here?

Ok, i take back the part about no support staff working. Just called and the wait time is 14mins.....so maybe 1 person is working after all...

Via DLNA, only Windows Media Player 11 and 12 are compatible with Onkyo receivers. iTunes unfortunately is NOT compatible for media streaming with this receiver. I would advise you to contact our Product Support department for further information on configuring your WMP to allow media sharing and DLNA streaming to be viewed onto your receiver via both being connected to the same network. As I was trying to add screenshots onto this posting- the forum is stating I am exceeding the data limitations on this forum. I can happily send this information via email. Please send a email message to the following email address (onkyoadmin@us.onkyo.com) to the attention of FORUM MODERATOR: WMP 11 / WMP 12 SCREENSHOTS.
