HT-R390 Fix Empty HT-R390 Fix

I have an Onkyo HT-R390. I purchased this from an unauthorized dealer and it is experiencing the known issue of powering off immediately after powering on. I went through the protocol of going to Onkyo support page and putting in the serial # and also talking to a service rep. They told me that a return box was already shipped out for this receiver but the said receiver was never received by Onkyo. Apparently that customer sold the receiver and somehow i ended up getting it. Onkyo will not send me a box for that reason. I would like to know what the fix to the "known issue" so i may fix it myself or take it to a electronic service shop and expedite the process.

HT-R390 Fix Empty HDMI receiver HT-R390

Good afternoon.
I have an Onkyo HT-R390 receiver and the HDMI adapter stopped working because of the salty air site. How can I exchange it for another board HDMI? you guys have this product available? any technical assistance in Brazil has this HDMI adapter available.

Onkyo parts are only available to be sold and service by authorized service centers. They are not available to be sold to the general public, please refer to your nearest authorized Onkyo service center regarding having the parts specified ordered and installed by the service center. Please contact our Parts & Services Dept at the number listed below during normal business hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST ; or via email at parts@us.onkyo.com. They can be contacted at 201-785-2600, option # 4 for Parts & Services as they can further assist you regarding Onkyo Parts and Accessories. Please note: some parts are not available to be sold to the public and are only available to be sold to authorized Onkyo service facilities.

Where did you purchase this receiver- who is the dealer of purchase? If the unit was purchased from a Onkyo US dealer; This Warranty is valid two years from date of purchase and is valid only within the continental United States of America. To be covered by this warranty the Onkyo product concerned must have been purchased directly from Onkyo or an Onkyo Authorized Dealer and the person seeking warranty service must reside within the continental United States of America. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to anyone.

Your Onkyo unit is eligible for servicing- but you will need to make shipping arrangements to have the Onkyo equipment shipped to a valid U.S. address. We will then send a shipping box and prepaid label to the valid U.S. address to have the Onkyo unit serviced for warranty repair. Upon completion of repair; the service center will ship the repaired product back to that U.S. address and it will be your responsibility to have the unit shipped from that address to your current location. Onkyo warranty is voided when you are using the product outside the continental U.S.- you will be responsible for shipping the unit to the U.S and out of the U.S. as well.
