Store a playlist onto your USB flash drive under the proper file folder (i.e. MUSIC) and press the USB button on the front of the receiver and await the " NOW INITIALIZING" message to disappear from the front display of the receiver. Now insert your flash drive onto the receiver and press the ENTER button to enter into the subfolders of your flash drive and navigate thru the folders via the directional arrow buttons and press ENTER to further enter this subfolder. When you find the name of the song; press ENTER and it should commence playback of the song title.

Wow! Let me see if I understand your reply. I should create a playlist and store it in a folder on the flash drive. Then all I have to do is navigate through the subfolders and fine the song I want to play.

What if I want to listen to several different song that are in several different subfolders? Can't I create a playlist to do this? Crying or Very sad

Yes you can create a playlist with the selected songs for audio playback; also ensure that your USB flash drive doesn't have any security utilities programs and that the music files are store on the ROOT directory for easier navigation of the receiver.
