Tx-Sr608 Parts needed
Hi, I bought an Onkyo receiver last year, and hardly used it.
I moved overseas and hooked the amp up, it worked perfectly and then one day it just didnt work! I took it in to the Onkyo Service centre here in Australia, who were happy to help me, however since they do not stock the model, there was nothing they could do to help me.
They told me the parts needed to get it fixed, however I am having trouble locating the parts anywhere.
The parts are :
1B247562-1A(preamp)
1B247555-1A(main pcb)
288141637( front)
2202526(transistor)
2202516(transistor)
I am happy to pay for the parts I just cant seem to find where to get them from.

Unfortunately- we are not able to parts to Australia. In addition, we cannot process an order for circuit boards without a PCB authorization from an authorized Onkyo USA service center. Also, as in seems that this unit was NOT purchased in the Onkyo USA or Canadian sales market, you will need to contact your regional (Onkyo Europe for Parts/ Onkyo Australia for possible Servicing) at the information provided below for further assistance. As the Onkyo USA Product Support forum is to assist Onkyo USA and Onkyo Canada customers; I can direct you to the proper department for further assistance. Lastly, the 3rd part numbers provided on your listing are NOT valid in our database system. So you will need to contact your regional Onkyo Parts and Services department for further assistance as well, since you possibly didn't purchase this unit from a Onkyo USA authorized dealer.

This Product WAS purchased in USA from Amazon. Last year. It is still under warranty. I can provide you with an invoice.
As it is not yet two years since I purchased this machine.
I now live in Australia, and Onkyo Australia does not stock these parts.
As this was purchased in the US, I STILL am an Onkyo US customer, though I presently dont live in the US.
I am not able to take it in to US Onkyo service centre, I have contacted the Onkyo Guys here in Australia, and they say that since it is purchased in the US, I should get support from ONKYO USA.
I look forward to hearing from you with a suitable solution.

As per the Onkyo USA manufacturer's warranty:
This Warranty is valid two years from date of purchase and is valid only within the continental United States of America. To be covered by this warranty the Onkyo product concerned must have been purchased directly from Onkyo or an Onkyo Authorized Dealer and the person seeking warranty service must reside within the continental United States of America. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to anyone.
Your Onkyo unit is eligible for servicing- but you will need to make shipping arrangements to have the Onkyo equipment shipped to a valid U.S. address. We will then send a shipping box and prepaid label to the valid U.S. address to have the Onkyo unit serviced for warranty repair. Upon completion of repair; the service center will ship the repaired product back to that U.S. address and it will be your responsibility to have the unit shipped from that address to your current location. Onkyo warranty is voided when you are using the product outside the continental U.S.- you will be responsible for shipping the unit to the U.S and out of the U.S. as well.
Onkyo Parts are only available to be sold and serviced by Onkyo USA authorized service centers. They are not available to be sold to the general public, please refer to your nearest authorized Onkyo USA service center regarding having the parts specified ordered and installed by the service center.
