No Sound While Playing Empty No Sound While Playing

My Equipment:
Onkyo TXNR509
Infinity Primus 252 Left and Right
Infinity Primus PC350 Center
Order Date - 3/11/2012
Ordered From - Crutchfield

Issue:
This has happened twice within 9 months of ownership. While listening to Pandora, the sounds all of a sudden quits but information on the receiver is there as if the music is still playing. What it takes to correct is "clearing" the receiver. Once this is done it's back to normal, which means we finally have music again. The last time this happened was just 30 mins ago. However, the Tech Support rep I spoke to said that I may be having a speaker going bad, but I would not know until this issue happens again to troubleshoot. I have a little knowledge about electronics, but I do not think one of my speakers is going bad. I tend to think the problem is within the receiver.

Has anyone experienced this issue before, or is this issue just with the TXNR509? I want to make sure of the problem without spending money. If anyone can offer some assistance i will be forever greatful.

Thanks in advance and Happy Thanksgiving!

If this occurs again; please press the DISPLAY button repeatedly and document the information displayed. What was the volume setting of the receiver when this occurred? What is the speaker impedance of your speakers and when this occurs- have you also done the LEVEL CALIBRATION to further determined if this receiver is showing connectivity to the speakers via test-tones? In regards to your issue- it would possibly be more effective to contact our Product Support Dept for further assistance with this specific issue via our phone number and hours of operation below.
